Desi Warren II is a rising junior Atlanta Posse Scholar at The George Washington University studying International Affairs with a concentration in Comparative Political, Social, and Economic Systems. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in Southwest Atlanta, Georgia. On campus, he serves in many different leadership capacities from being a Resident Advisor to being the 2020-2021 Black Heritage Celebration Committee Co-Chair. This year, he is excited to help enhance the Black student experience on campus by ensuring that every black student, regardless of background, feels included within the small tight-knit community. He is also working with Friends of Intelligent Democracy, a Political Action Committee run by college students. In his free time, Desi likes to read the WallStreet Journal, watch Netflix, and spend time with friends and family!
