Kareemot Siyanbola is a junior studying Systems Engineering with a minor in Business Administration. She currently lives in the Bronx, NY and is originally from Nigeria. This school year she will be serving as one of BSU’s Transfer and Prospective Student Liaisons. This position also includes the oversight of BSU’s Big Brother Big Sister Program, which is designed to ease the transition for Black First year students. Alongside this role, Kareemot will be an Events Coordinator for the African Student Association for the second year in a row as well as the Social Media Chair for Xola, GW’s Afro-Carribean dance team. Kareemot works at Academic Technologies as a Technical Support Assistant and is also a Fellow of The Opportunity Network. While she isn’t sure what life after college looks like; she is devoted to finding a career path that fulfills her passions. For fun, Kareemot loves to watch Nollywood movies and chatting about whatever.
