Kylie Foster is a sophomore attending GW's Milken Institute of Public Health, double majoring in Public Health and Criminal Justice. This is Kylie's second year serving on BSU's e-board as last year she was one of the Community Service's committee members. Alongside BSU she is also involved in Black Girl Mentorship (BGM), African Student Association (ASA), and Black Public Health Student Network GW (BPHSN). This year Kylie will also be partaking in BSU's newfound research opportunity on DC Policing and Youth Diversion. Kylie's main aspiration in life is to dismantle the maternal mortality rate among African American women and to undo the damage caused by the 1970s "War on Drugs" on Black communities and imprisoned individuals. In her free time, Kylie enjoys traveling, camping, reading and writing poetry, and spending time with friends and family.
