Peyton Wilson is a junior from metro Atlanta studying Political Communication. Along with serving on BSU, Peyton is the Editorial Director for the Black Ace Magazine-- GW’s first Black publication. She is currently a Research Assistant for GW’s School of Media and Public Affairs and the Political Science Department, a Dining Representative for GW Dining, and founder of The Black Knowledge Coalition. Since coming to GW Peyton has served on the E-Board for GW’s Association of Black Journalists, the 2019-2020 Black Heritage Celebration Committee, was a student tour guide, and is a Posse Scholar. Peyton has hopes of one day being a professor and doing research on civic engagement, education, and activism in communities of color. For fun, Peyton enjoys skateboarding, painting, writing, and playing with her dog who lives with her in DC!
